Jake had the thought that now would be a great time for a new pup. We're all home all day and the weather is getting warmer. We have a lawn and space and a Nelli dog to be a good mentor. He found a litter in Preston with 8 week old golden labs and drove out to choose his favorite. She was interested in the pheasant wing, used her nose and was mild with their kids. So he paid for her and brought her home. The girls had zero idea what was coming. Jayli has been asking for a puppy for years. Jake gave her a good bath before the girls saw her just to make sure she was clean and virus free :)
She was Penny from the first minute and we love her. Yes she chews on everything including our shoes and fingers but she is mild and well behaved. She sleeps most of the day and makes messes in the garage all night. She's an outside dog of course but she has come in a couple times to say hi. We have had tons of fun with her already.
