Easter

Easter was so fun to enjoy and look forward to this year. We have really been anticipation Spring. We're more than ready to be outside and have some sunshine! We went to two egg hunts the day before. Both girls loved running around to find eggs and fill their baskets. Grandma and Papa and G.G. came to visit that day to prune our peach trees. So they got to come watch the egg hunts too. Then we had a little BBQ in our backyard before they left. Easter morning was so beautiful. We found eggs, had a big breakfast and talked about the resurrection. We had special lessons at church and loved celebrating our Savior on that beautiful Spring day. We invited our neighbors, the Hardings over for a big dinner after church. 

 

Sunshine Terrace Perfomance

 Jayli's dance class got to perform at the Sunshine Terrace, a retirement home. Jayli loves to dance and loves to perform. She looked so cute in her costume! We loved watching her and she had fun with her friends. Ava, Leighton and Capri.

Egg Hunt Surprise and Provo Temple Dedication

 We drove to Lehi Sunday morning to go to the Provo Temple dedication with Jake's family and spend the day with cousins. Jake's parents watched the kids and we went to the afternoon session with Jentry and the Simpers. It was so beautiful. The historical Provo tabernacle tragically burned two

years ago. Now they have renovated the entire building into the beautiful Provo City Center Temple. It's stunning. The talks and music were uplifting and peaceful. After the dedication we had a big dinner at the Nelsons with everyone. We had a Egg hunt planned for all the kids since the following Sunday was Easter. We brought along an extra special egg. Kenadee found it and we had a surprise folded inside. Nelson Family is expecting baby #3! We were so excited to share our news since we are already 16 weeks along. Best part is that Tiff is due the day before me! September 3 and 4 are going to be fun days for the Nelson group!

Grandpa Blair's 60th

 My sweet Grandpa Blair is 60! My aunts put together a suprise party for him at Maddox. Most everyone was there except my mom and Kam because they were on a cruise. We brought Tegan with us and had lunch and visited with everyone. We got Papa a bag of 60 pistachios.
Afterward we went to G.G's house. We brought her lunch and told her our big secret. She was so sweet!

 

A Day for Green

 We had a lot of fun with St Patrick's Day this year. I think all we got out of the day was that there's a lot of green involved! We had green "pops" the girl's favorite breakfast. Wore special St Patrick's day shirts. J did fun stuff at school to celebrate too. We invited our friends the Duston's over after dinner for a treasure hunt and a green treat. Pretzel crust, cream topped with green jello. Delish!
