Pre Christmas Weekend

We spent the few days before Christmas in Highland with Jake's family since it was our year to be there. We decided a couple years ago to spend Christmas Day at home with our little family. So while we were there we had fun playing with all the cousins. I took Jayli, Andi and Kenadee to the movie Coco one night after the littles had gone to bed. On Sunday I let the girls open a Christmas gift which was their dresses. We went to sacrament and had dinner with all the family. Becky and Leon had a big gift for everyone. We all get to go to Kauai on January 25! They paid for the whole trip.

Jayli's Christmas program

Kindergarten is awesome. I loved this little Christmas program. Jayli loved it too. She made the cute reindeer shirt she's wearing. She'd come home from school most of December singing the songs they learned. Charli and Kynli weren't so happy to be there by the end.

Jayli and Kynli's Christmas Recital

Jayli and Kynli both dance for Serenditpity Dance at the Rec Center once every Tuesday. They were so excited to perform in their Christmas recital. Kyn's first time on the big stage! Kynli actually kind of just stood there during her dance and smiled SO big! She couldn't believe all those people were there to watch her. Later when they announced her name, she was supposed to skip across stage and wave. But she did about 30 spins and didn't cross the stage. Everyone was giggling and cheering. Finally her teacher came out on stage and led her off stage. It was so cute! Jayli did great too. She's loving tap and her fancy costumes. Charli sat very still on my lap and watched each dance! The whole recital was only about 45 minutes. Just right. Jessica Westerberg was there to watch Kyler and she had Jackson. So we got to have a picture with them. Fun night!

Grandmas

 We stopped in Brigham City to see out 2 sweet grandmas. Grandma Kenna loves visitors. She let the girls stir through her famous jewelry drawer like I used to when I was little. She always has the girls get some frozen yogurt in the common area. And our sweet GG. She still lives at home. She is smart as a whip and so funny. Love visiting these two special ladies.

December

December is full of extra fun activities. Visiting Santa at Freckle Farm, Charli hated him. Decorating ginger bread houses. Joy the elf coming back from the North Pole to keep tabs on the girls. She hides every night and the girls have to find her when she wakes up. Charli got to where she even would walk around in the morning and find Joy, point to her through-out the day, laugh and say "JOY!" Santa would send us a text everyday with some fun pictures of his suit or his reindeer. They thought that was SO AMAZING! The girls both had school parties. J made a ginger bread house, Kynli took snowmen treats to share. Decorating our tree along with our 25 days of Christ ornaments and devotional. And the traditional sugar cookies and decorating. Phewf!
