August Extras

 We went to the rodeo the day before Jake's birthday but the rodeo is one of his favorite parts of his birthday. Also to document, we got a lab result back for Jake and finally found out he has Hashimotos Disease on his birthday. He will see an endocrinologist annually to manage his symptoms. Which have been fatigue, he feels like he's floating and light headed. Pain in his check, neck, down his arms. Symptoms aren't every day but they come and go.

Jayli lost a tooth. Charli like to sit on the potty and actually goes every once in a while. Our sitter Emmy took the girls to her neighbor's one day while I was working and the girls got to bottle feed a new fawn.  Jayli created her own boat and won a gift card at Jake's work party. Lots of peaches!

Highland

 The girls spent a day and night in Highland while Jake and I worked late and knock out a bunch of cabinets. Always a fun visit with cousins and lots of adults to help! 

Charli is 2

 We had a pretty fun day with this big girl today! We snuck balloons above her crib this morning so she'd be surprised when she woke up. We sang happy birthday to her so many times. We went to the jump zone and lunch with the aunties. She got a baby doll set with a crib and a little suitcase for her dolly. Charli's personality just lights up the room. We all want her attention because she's just so dang fun! I just wish she could stay tiny for like 10 more years.

House progress

Jake is our all star MVP! There is nothing he can't do. He get's it done and it's always pristine! He worked all day at the house on his birthday. He didn't complain when I asked for a very difficult herringbone design for the fireplace. Kyle helped with trim. Jake gave me lots of shiplap and the girls were so patient when we were both working. Tile is all in by Jake. And the siding is about finished. Rock started on exterior. Cabinets delivered and Leon came to help for the day.
