GG's Cabin

 We met some of Jake's family up to GG's cabin for Pioneer Day lunch. Jake and the girl's caught a fish off the little dock. It's fun to explore in the trees up there.

Palisades

 We went camping up to Palisades Reservoir with my family, Jake's parents, and the Guiles. I remember camping here every year with my family when I was growing up. Kip brought his boat and we really enjoyed it! Kynli, Jake and I all got to ski. We were so proud of Kyn, she's so brave. Everyone got to tube. And Jake fished with the girls and Kyle. We enjoyed lots of yummy food. One thing I really want to remember is Sunday morning, after breakfast, everyone just gathered together naturally and we had deep and spiritual conversations about the church and our testimonies. It was beautiful and peaceful in the grassy, sunny spot. I loved that morning and enjoying the still before we all cleaned up and drove home.

Pineview Camping

 We had fun camping with the Chlarsons. Becky and Leon came up one day with their boat and pulled us all around. So nice of them! Kynli got up on the skis!

4th of July

Cousins made the best day of the year even better! We were so thrilled to have the Simper’s visit for a few days to celebrate the holiday! We packing in all our favorite activities. Fireworks and friends at the University, parade in Franklin, picnics, pea picking, sparklers, BBQ, and we went down to the grass at the church and let the kids catch rockets. Very entertaining:) We got to spend all of it with our cousins so it was a party for 3 days straight. We hit the pool on 5th because the 4th was too chili for any water activities. The Simper’s even stayed a day longer to help us prep and lay our sod! I’d love it if they came every year.
