Waterslide party/ Night parade

We had a party on the Saturday between Charli and Jayli's birthdays to make it more of celebration for them. I invited any and all neighborhood kids. Jake rolled out the visqueen and turned the sprinklers on in the retention lot in our neighborhood. We set up a few shades for the parents to watch. We had lemonade and popsicles. The kids had tons of fun. Grandpa Leon even decided to put on some shorts and join the fun. Jake's parents, the Simpers and Mindy drove up for the party too. After the waterslide we grilled hamburgers at our house and then had cupcakes that Becky made. We let the kids decorate their bikes for the glow in the dark parade we planned when it got dark. I counted 23 kids that came down to our street for the parade. We turned music on in our drive way and the parents sat on the side walk and watched all the kids go around the cones we set out to the north and south of our property in the street. I decorated Charli's stroller and walked her around with all the kids. So much fun!
