We drove to Burley Thanksgiving day. We enjoyed visiting with all my family. I pulled all the kids around on the sled with the four-wheeler while the guys were shooting clay pigeons. Jayli and Kynli loved playing with all the cousins. Friday morning we asked my dad if he would take us to one of his dairy barns and show us the cows and "how they get milked" Jayli and Kynli were in heaven. Kyn kept yelling "MOO!" Then he took us into this little room where all the newborn calves were staying. They were so cute! We sang happy birthday. :)
On the way home Saturday afternoon we stopped to say hi to Chris. Then we decided to drive home through Preston so we could cut down our Christmas tree. I picked a really skinny tree this year. We love it. We stopped back in Preston to grab some dinner and they were having a big celebration. We saw a parade and fireworks! We just happened to be in town right when it all started. We loved our spontaneous adventure.
