Halloween

Halloween is much more eventful with a child. We got to trick or treat and dress up and even carving pumpkins was funner. Jayli was a hoot. Ha literally, she was an owl. And the cutest little owl ever. She even said "hoooo!" Such a show off.

And the pumpkin walk was just perfect. It was warm, no crowds. Jayli loved following the path through the park and not being held....so independent. She danced to the music playing at each scene. We went with the Pratts and the Simpers. After the pumpkin walk we had soup and frosted cookies!

Not loving the scary witch!

Pumpkin Carving

Jake had a brillant idea. Power tools meets pumpkin!

btw the top pumpkin says pura vida. It was a common greeting in Costa Rica. It means Pure Life!
