Few things make me happier than a warm summer night playing in the backyard with my family. We started enjoying baseball in the back yard with the T. About 7:30 every night we end up in the back yard. Scavenging the garden for treasures and playing on the swings/ tramp. We picked SO many cucumbers! Like 100 I bet. And shared them with whomever would take them. We canned green beans and watched our tomatoes and watermelons with anticipation. We had to get creative with a sensor sprinkler to keep all the deer out. We bought a new tree to replace the one that was dying in the front park strip. We did parades and swam at the pool and made boats to race at the park. We saw old friends and went out for ice cream. Logan came home from his mission. Jake painted the turf. We are in a drought so its been a dry summer. But we love every warm day with sprinklers and crickets chirping and late nights with my favorite people. I'm so blessed.
