Father's Day Weekend

Jayli LOVES her daddy. And he is the most wonderful dad! We appreciate this awesome man in our lives! He works so hard so we can play all day. Usually he works and comes home just to have to load up and go to work again. He is positive about it and so good at everything he does. For part father's day weekend, we visited Leon and Jake's family in Highland. We played kickball with the Armstrongs Friday night. On Saturday we went to 7 Peaks with Mindy, Calvin,Andi, Cort, Leon and Becky. Jayli loved the slides. She's such a thrill seeker. Definately a brave little girl. She loved floating on her own in the lazy river. So cute to watch her little body wiggle, trying to get around in the water. She feel asleep before we got out of the park. We grabbed something to eat in Logan when she woke up. And had a slushy while Jake went fishing.
On Sunday morning we made Jake a big breakfast and let him open his gifts. We had the Simpers over for dinner after church and got to relax outside. Jake you are such a great example for Jayli and I and we LOVE you like crazy. Thanks for crawling under the sink to fix a leak while we just watch. Blowing out the mice poop and spider webs out of the old camper so we can have a clean place to sleep. Spraying down the wasp nests in the rain gutters. Digging a hole for the tree. Climbing in the hot, dirty attic. Taking apart the microwave so we can heat Jayli's bottle. Shoveling snow, lots of heavy snow. Mowing weeds. Kneeling on the concrete with your bad knee all day. Moving furniture. Carrying all the heavy bags. And bearing all the scraps and bruises from fixing and lifting and hauling everything we have to make it all work.
