September Extras

 Went to Lagoon to see the Halloween decorations and ride rides. Enjoyed sharing our table with lots of friends lately. Karren's, siblings and friends.

Planting Trees

 Team work makes the dream work. We all worked together to get all these trees planted. 

Jayli’s first day of second grade

I love this kid with all my heart! I’m so excited for her to start 2️⃣nd grade. Her teacher is Mrs. Chadwick and she is so sweet! I never worry about J at school bc she’s such a leader and so smart. I look up to her! And everyday I try to be good like her.

Anderson Cove

 We camped at Anderson Cove for the weekend with the Blacks and the Dutsons. Beck and Leon came for one afternoon and brought their boat to pull us around. Kynli is so brave to ski every time!

Jayli’s 8th Birthday

I just love the way kids light up on their birthdays! A whole day of special treatment. 

We had so much fun celebrating Jayli today! We started the day with balloons and her favorite breakfast, baked oatmeal. Kynli, Charli and I brought Wendy’s and ate with her in the lunch room. Then we came back before the final bell rang with cupcakes to celebrate her with her class. About an hour after school we hosted a “Hatchimal birthday party” with some of her friends. We took them down to the church gym and played hungry hippo. Afterward we came back up to the house and opened gifts and sang to her. The cupcakes were topped with a hatchimal egg for each friend. 

We had pizza for dinner. Teg and Grandma sissy came over for cake with pink hatchimal and sparkler 8 on top! 

Jayli radiates enthusiasm and adventure! Her personality is huge and she is such a leader. I love watching her grow up but 8 is so big! I’m hanging on to every last bit the carefree child inside. I love you Jayli Ann 😘

Twin Lakes Labor Day Weekend

So many friends joined us camping at Twin Lakes. Karrens, Hardings, Rowers and Kam and Kyle came with Tiff and Colt. It was a party. The water was really low and yucky so I don't think we will camp there that late in the year again. Charli thought it was ok to slurp water out of her hand off the back of the kayak and in shallow nasty water. Needless to say she did not feel well a couple days later. We took her to the dr and did some stool samples. It wasn't crypto or giardia but we talked a lot about not drinking the lake water!
