We had a super fun day celebrating Kynli. I got up early and picked up some inflated balloons and doughnuts for her when she woke up. She was a little confused but thought the balloons were pretty awesome. She sat in between us in our bed and sang the birthday song with us! It was so funny! She dug into to her Texas sized doughnut with sprinkles. Kyn looked so cute with her crazy bed head! Luckily her birthday fell on our city's day of celebration so we got to go to the parade on main street. Becky and Leon came too. The girls loved the big floats and the candy. Then we went home for lunch. Kynli opened her gifts and we sang happy birthday. Lees made her cake with starburst all around it. She just ate the starbursts. Kyn had a nap and grandpa pruned our peach trees. After a long nap we just hung out in the shade of the back yard while the girls played on the tramp. A bunch of family face-timed us to talk to Kynli. We used Jeff's fire pit next door to make smores. She is definitely still a sugar monster. I put a few glow sticks in the bath with the girls. They thought it was super fun to bath in the dark. We let them stay up late and watch the fireworks put on by the city. We were all tired when the day ended but were so grateful for the way it turned out. Kynli is so sweet and happy all the time. I love watching her grow and change everyday. I'm so lucky to be her mother.

Kynli 2 year update
Kynli is already 2! She's such a big girl and shows it. Kynli is already potty trained and is awesome about not having accidents. She loves to do anything with Jayli and play with the big girls. Kynli is such a fun, playful sweetheart. Her favorite things to do usually require a mess but I'm getting used to it. Kyn loves baby dolls and dressing up. She likes costume jewelry and wearing her backpack. The girls will play anything and have fun. They're so well-rounded with their ideas for fun. It could be pretending to ride horses (pillows) or pretending to go on vacation, or go to preschool. They love to run through the house and slam into the couch cushions. Their giggles make my heart so happy. Jayli and Kynli are the best of friends and love each other so much! I'm so lucky they get along and play so well.
Kynli loves to eat and snack all day. She loves sugar more than anything but besides that her favorites are eggs, gogurt, strawberries, cucumbers, noodles, hot dogs, cheese, pickles, pizza, anything with ranch, cherry tomatoes, juice, potatoes, cereal and drinking the milk in her bowl. Kyn will take a bite or a drink and just hold it in her cheeks till we tell her to swallow. Haha. She loves to bless the food and if we forget she's always the first to remember. She will look at me and say "Hevly Fada?" Super adorable.
Kyn is usually very obedient and sweet. When she gets in trouble she usually looks at me with big watery eyes and a big bottom lip trying to hold it in. She just says "ok mom" This breaks my heart and I instantly regret scolding her. She's really good about sharing and taking turns. But does usually want what Jayli has. Typical sibling stuff I think.
She's getting some hair in. It has to be in a little pony on top of her head at all times. If its not, like drying after a bath, she'll say "bug BUG!" like there's a bug in her eye. She loves to be outside especially if Jake is out working on something. Her parent preference changes a lot. We call her parent bipolar because it can change by the minute. Very random and sometimes frustrating. However she's so good about a lot of things. Like going to bed and taking a nap. She'll just lay down in her crib with her paci stash and go right to sleep. We only let her have her pacis when she's going to sleep so I think that helps. We still put a diaper on her when she's sleeping. I still snuggle her for a bit before bed in the rocker. I'll do it as long as she'll let me. We read a story or sing and song and talk softly for a bit before I lay her down. Sweet little pumpkin.
Kynli loves riding her little pink trike. She's really got the pedaling down. She hides things in the back and cruises up and down the sidewalk. I think Kynli has Jake's eyes and have noticed how sensitive they are like his. So she's usually wearing her cute little sunglasses. She leaves them on. She loves to jump on the tramp and slide and swing and swim. She still doesn't like TV that much but will sit and watch for a few minutes.

Gender Reveal
We all had our guesses if this baby would be a girl or a boy. Jayli and Jake thought boy. I thought girl. Kyn thought we were all crazy. We took the girls to the ultrasound on April 13. The sonographer went over every detail of our sweet baby. Everything is looking super great! With the biggest relief out of the way he let us know that we are having a...........
GIRL!!!! Another pretty lady is joining our girl gang! Great men like Jake are just meant to have lots of girls in their life. He's an amazing father and these girls are amazing sisters. We're so excited and blessed for this healthy baby girl to join our family 9.4.16

3 Slurpies and a Razor Ride
Our neighbor Jeff let us borrow his razor to take the girls for a ride. We had Capri over that afternoon to play. Jake drove us down to 7-11 and we got the girls slurpies. Kynli was loving the "vroom vroom" and the big girls were telling Jake to go faster. They were delicious and Kynli learned how to say slurpie.

Jayli's Preschool Spotlight
Jayli had her Special Day at Preschool April 7. She loved being the focus for the day. We made a poster to share special things about her. She helped me choose all the pictures and make her poster. She loves her family and doing fun things together outside, dancing, riding her bike, visiting her cousins in Lehi. She's getting a new baby in September. Cheering for the Aggies, riding horses, playing with her best friend Capri (especially outside when they jump on tramp with the sprinkler. And she just loves her little sister Kynli so much! We also brought her most favorite snack, slices strawberries with a sprinkle of sugar to share. Teacher Tana also traced a full size picture of Jayli that day, and J colored it when we got home. Jayli is 4. She has two pets Nelli and Pescado. She wants to be a policewoman when she grows up. And her favorite thing about preschool is cutting, gluing and playing with Jett. I loved watching J on her special day. She's so beautiful inside and out. This little girl makes me so proud!
