Charli Sue is growing up fast. She learned to crawl about a week ago. It's so nice now that she can get to where she wants to go. She isn't stuck on her tummy with her toy out of reach. She can explore a little more. Although she doesn't really go past the front room. She used to crawl backward for a couple weeks, just adding to her frustration. Then she would move forward with her hands only to fall flat on her tummy. Then she would stick her bum in the air like a stink bug. Which was so adorable. Finally she learned to move her knees forward too. She acts like she wants to bring up her right foot when she crawls like Jayli did. She's still improving her efficiency and rhythm. And she makes this adorable noise when she's on the go. Like "here I come!" We put the gait up the first day she really started getting around because she headed straight for the stairs. I was in the kitchen making dinner when I noticed she was heading that way. By the time I got around the corner she took a dive over the top and fell down the first two stairs before I caught her leg. I was so scared I wouldn't reach her in time. Thankfully she didn't get hurt.
Charli has a pretty great schedule right now. It's very predictable and I know how my day is gonna go. She wakes up at 7:30 ish drinks 4oz. Eats some breakfast with us. Applesauce or yogurt or pieces of bread. Goes down for a nap after being up for two hours. So nap at 9:30. Usually sleeps an hour and half or 2 hours. Eats every 4 hours. So she drinks 4 oz at about 11:30 then eats lunch with us. Naps at 1:30. Wake around 3:30 and drinks another 4 oz. has a snack. Then takes a final short nap at about 5:30. Only about 30- 45 minutes. Drinks another 4 oz at 7ish and eats dinner with us. She goes to bed about 9. Wakes to drink 4 oz around 2 or 3. Sleep till 7:30.
She likes pretty much anything we eat now. I still don't give her rice cereal or oatmeal. But she can eat anything else. Not sure why she had such a strong reaction to those. We give her bread, tortillas, crackers anything with gluten or rice or rice flour... Her favorite foods are. Strawberries, bread pieces, avacado, peas, yogurt melts. She will eat pureed baby food but prefers something she can chew up with a little more flavor. Can you blame her? :) She sits in her chair that attaches to the table or counter. Drinks water usually with a syringe or the bottom of a straw. I try to give her plenty of water when she eats because she sometimes has hard stools that make her upset. 
Charli in getting more vocal. She started doing this cute little noise around the girls. It's like a high fake yell. Like the girls do when they play together. Like she's letting us know she's having so much fun too. Kynli does it more when she playing with Charli. Kind of a laugh and ahhhh. She really wants to be involved. She's getting a lot more hair. It's probably 2" long. And It's really even all the way around her head. No bald spots or areas with longer hair. It's still a strawberry blonde color which I LOVE!
Charli has figured out how to put her paci in her mouth. Which doesn't really matter right now because I still swaddle her at night... She has also learned to jump really well. She enjoys her stationary jumper and the one that hangs in the door way. She is so cute when she gets going. I just love that chubby little Sue. She's so much fun and we all fight for her attention.
