Jayli is growing too fast. She has evolved from a baby to a little girl. And she is the most
beautiful little girl! Jayli knows she is big now and demands to be treated so. Lately she has
refused her high chair. Refused a sippy, won't sit in the little seat in the shopping cart, cooks in her own kitchen, eats with a spoon, brushes her teeth, wants to chew gum, ride a bike, ride nelli, turn on/off the lights, snore..., get the mail, hide in small spaces,
swing and clean. J has become a movie critic. She's seen all the best cartoons and demands a "show" regularly! She
jabbers on and on constantly. She can point out and say: eyes, nose, teeth, ears. Her favorite word is
NO. But she says it so sweetly :) Jayli also graduated to
nursery. Which she loved the first couple of weeks but now will not go. Lately she has become unbearably attached to us. She will search the house for us if she's with a babysitter. And if Jake is home.... he belongs to her! Doesn't want mama. She will scream if he doesn't lay her down for bed. Bitter sweet I guess. Jayli loves to play outside, as always, and loves to play with other kids. She loves the song and signs to
Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the bus and Makin cookies. J can tell us the sounds for: Bear, duck, cow, dog, kitty, horse, and bird.
Smarty pants.. I know. We're excited for some sun this summer and lots of play time!
