Hair cut

We cut 9 inches off Jayli's hair! She loves it!

Solar Eclipse

Solar Eclipe 2017. We got to see 95% from our backyard. The girls and I made a pin hole camera with a Cheerios box and got to look through eclipse glasses that our neighbor had. Pretty awesome.

Minnetonka Cave

While we were in Bear Lake this time we decided to go see the Minnetonka cave. We got there right at 9:30 so we could catch the first tour. The Chlarsons came up to go through with us. The cave was really cold about 40 degrees. We bundled up in our sweaters and hats. But we warmed up with all the stairs. Got a little work out packing kids. Kynli rode in the pack on Jake's back. Jayli walked the whole thing without any help! It was pretty cool.

Bear Lake Hot Springs

It's no secret we love Bear Lake. This trip we got to camp right on the north shore. The Stakers and the Chlarsons camped with us.  We got to play on the beach Friday and Saturday. I'm not sure who loves the beach more, me or the girls. Friday was a little breezy but Saturday was great. We were able to paddle board and kayak. We rented a jet ski for an hour too with the Stakers. Sunday we cleaned up and went to sacrament in the Paris ward. Then drove home.

Bannock County

Kameme's was selling krepes at the bannock county fair. So we drove up Saturday to support Kam and Jayme. Jayli and Kyn love wearing their Kameme's shirts. They had a handful of little things to see at the fair. The girls loved the pony rides and the "petting zoo". We went to Downata while we were in Downey. Jayli was able to go down the slides without a life jacket. She's getting to be a great little swimmer. Charli took a snooze on me. And Kynli just love puttering around the pool in her life jacket. Not the waterslide here because you can't ride double. We had pizza at the pool and then drove home.

Daddy's birthday & Mutton Bustin

Jayli decided she was brave enough to ride the sheep in the rodeo this year. Jake signed her up last month. He got up early and waited in line at the county office to get her a spot. In fact the night we choose to go to the rodeo was on his birthday. We had everyone over for dinner and cake before the rodeo. So Jayli was excited to ride on dad's birthday. Jake's parents came to watch and brought Andi and Mindy. Jayli seemed a little nervous but not scared. When it was her turn Jake picked her up and set her on the sheep. Two other men were holding the sheep still. Jake told her to hold on tight with her arms and legs and try to stay on. She made it about 50 yards before she fell off to the side. She jumped up and jogged over to Jake and took off her hat and waved to the crowd! So cute! Brave little turkey enjoyed her few minutes of fame. I'm so proud of her.
