August Extras

Jake bought a new bike rack to haul all our bikes. The girls enjoyed all the boxes. The made these cute characters and put on a play for me. We helped dad with closets and brought dinner to him and kyle. Enjoyed our beautiful back yard and garden and friends.

5

Charli turned 5! We celebrated her all week. Grandma and Grandpa took her to dinner. We got to swim at a fun pool where Jake was doing closets. On her birthday we were in Burley for Brey's wedding, so  we got to have lunch with all the aunts at Grandma's house. She opened gifts all week, picked a lion balloon, and was recognized in her preschool class. Charli is so super sweet or really sour. She picks on Kynli especially. Jake and I are never sure who she's going to want between the two of us. She loved to rub everyone's ear lobes. A little trait that usually makes people laugh. We think she started doing it because she would rub penny's ear a lot. She loves watermelon, cucumbers, dippy eggs (over medium egg on a piece of cheesy toast), a cheeseburger with pickles and ketchup, gnocchi soup, anything sweet but especially cake. She's super boy crazy and goes week in the knees for Ryker and Luke. She's tidy and loves giving compliments. She still has a little bit of a lisp but it's not a th sound its more of a lazy S. She loves lions right now and begs me for her hour of tv time everyday. She's growing fast and just about the exact size of Kynli. I love my little Sue and so happy she has so much to say. Stay 5 forever.

Rodeo and Beets

We got Jake tickets to the rodeo for his birthday. The girls were entertained by the events more than before. The sat still and loved watching. They all loved a little horse ride of their own.

We harvested all our beets. We only had 1 row this year because the deer loved them. We canned them in the back yard. Grandma Becky told me what to do. We will enjoy them all winter.
