Batting Cages
Jake and I decided to go to the batting cages at willow park for our date. We were the only ones there. We had lots of fun taking pictures and feeding in more quarters for another turn up to bat. The park was so quiet and beautiful with the fall leaves. We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse afterward. Jayli and Kynli went to a birthday party with Heidi and Eden.
Smithfield Canyon Picnic
While daddy was hunting geese.. we were hunting leaves! I spy yellow, green, orange and red. We drove to the mouth of the canyon and I put the girls in the little bike trailer. I pedaled up the canyon and we stopped for a little picnic. We talked about fall and how the leaves change. I love being a mom.

I planned a girls trip for... anyone that wanted to come. I decided on San Diego since I've never been and wanted some warm weather. My mom, Mimi, Jenna, Melissa, Teg, Kamryn, and Leslie came with. We stayed in Mission Bay. Here are the highlights. Snorkeling, swimming and beach time at La Jolla beach/cove. Biking around Coronado Island. Running on the beach in the morning. Watching the rowing teams practice in the bay. Dinner in Gas Lamp district. Shopping.. everywhere. Boogie boarding on Ocean Ave beach. Visiting San Diego temple grounds. Roller Coasters at Belmont Park. Visiting and laughing late every night.

Bike Wash
While I was in San Diego, Jake sent me a few pictures of the girls. Including these, of the hand-made "bike wash" he created one hot afternoon. It blows me away how creative he is. I love bragging about my amazing hub.
