Second Nursery

We started fixing up the nursery for our second little sweetheart. Jake thought up an awesome idea for trim work on the far wall. Love the shelves above the waynes coat. I wanted gray stripes. It took us two nights to get it all done. Jayli was sweet enough to read us books while we worked. Her favorite was pulling the tape down after the paint dried. Turns out my shirt matched the paint exactly. :)

 

Fishing at Twin Lakes

Jake took off work early one day and we headed to Twin Lakes to catch a fish. Jayli caught the only fish. What a natural.

Disney on Ice

We experienced Disney on Ice! Jayli just starred in shock the first half hour of the show. But then she started singing along and dancing. So fun to see our little J so happy. We met up with Jakes family for some dinner before the show. They are always willing to drop everything to come see us. Love our family.

 

 

Happy Half Birthday

We were so bored on this rainy day. We decided to make a cake to celebrate Jayli's HALF birthday! Purple frosting and sprinkles changes the whole outlook on the day. We even sang to her and relight the candles so she could blow them out about 10 times. Silly girl.

New Toy

Boys and their toys. Jake has been lusting over this truck for years.... it's finally his. No one deserves it more! This is gonna be a fun Summer!

Burley Quick trip

We drove to Burley for the weekend to see Tegan in Les Miserables. She played Eponine. She was the only student that played a leading role in the play! She was awesome! We also got to spend time with grandma and Kam. Jake had the great idea to drive to the cinema and fill this huge bowl with popcorn. We got some strange looks but the whole family enjoyed plenty of popcorn.

Lava

We drove up to Lava hot springs to try out their indoor pool and kiddie cove. The water was so warm. Jayli loves to swim, we can't wait until summer gets here!

 

Valentines, Shower and Ducks Unlimited Dinner

These are my two Valentines! I love them to pieces. I worked for a few hours on Valentines and when I came home I found the most wonderful surprise. These two made a beautiful dinner! Ribs, dutch oven potatoes, and homemade bread! Jake does amazing stuff like this all the time. How did I get so lucky? He also surprised me and Jayli with tickets to Disney on Ice! We went to Highland the next day for Tiffs baby shower. All the aunts set up a Valentine hunt for the kids. Jayli loves her cousins. The following weekend Jake and I went to the Ducks Unlimited Dinner for our Valentine date. He's such a stud. Love it when we get time just the two of us.
