10 Months

Well she did it. She's accomplished everything! Jayli started walking just a week after she turned 9 months! She's so good at it now. She literally runs down the hall when we chase her. She's like an old pro. It's nice that her hands aren't on the floor anymore but I need to get her more shoes! She would much rather wander around jabbering than be held. It's so hard to get picture of her that aren't blurry cause she's always on the move. Everybody tells me "she's busy!" She doesn't like to be fed with a spoon. Would much rather feed herself. Jayli loves veggie straws, avocados, whole peas and whole green beans, crackers, noodles, watermelon... all fruit basically. We've had so much fun with her hair this past month. Piggies and ponies. She loves to clap still and dance. She loves to kiss my cheeks! Ha I love it too. She just slobbers all over then. Jayli loves to put lids back on things, or click her little Easter eggs back together. She loves unloading the dishwasher. She loves to swim! Jayli still only says "dada" but can do the sign for "all done" in her high chair when she's finished. She has been playing with her feet a lot lately like she did at 6 months. She loves books. I could read her 10 and she wouldn't get bored. She loves her 4 wheeler Jake bought her. I can't believe how fast she's learning. I'm so sad she'll be 1 soon. I love her tiny little face and hands and feet. She is so much fun to play with. I'm so proud of everything she does daily. I'm so lucky to get to much time with her.

She LOVES her 4 wheeler. She squeels and laughs. She set s her little feet up and just hangs on tight!

This was the night I took Jayli to the mother-daughter "fancy nancy" party. Ha doesn't she look like "fancy"? :)

4th Festivities

July 4th is definitely in my top 3 favorite holidays. Warm nights, fire works, BBQ, friends. We had so much fun this year. We had our annual get-together in town across from the stadium. We have a BBQ with our friends and have the saaaweetest spot for the fireworks. We are literally right under them. About 20 minutes of awesome lights and big explosions! Jayli was very fascinated.

We went to the parade the next day. On the actual holiday. We had a nice spot on the grass with our umbrella to shade.

We went to a friends family party after the parade. They call this place the "hide out" sooooo sweet!

Jake and I realized we hadn't had one picture of both of us all day. so we snapped one in the car.

And then there was Burley. We had Grandpa Durf's 90th birthday party and another firework party!

J and Grandpa Durf. 10 months vs 90 years :)

J got a dollar @ the firework party. She got one of the parachute men from the bottle rocket! Good catch baby.

We had such a great week filled with fun activities. Most importantly we're very grateful for the country we live in with opportunities and our freedom to choose. Happy birthday America!
