Merry Merry Christmas

We had a very merry Christmas in Highland this year. We opened some gifts at home on Christmas Eve before we left. Jayli didn't quite know what to think of all the tearing and awhing but she seemed to like all the excitement. She got so many fun toys. A jumper, play gym, books, hand toys, clothes. I got a steamer and cookie paddles for my Bosch! Jake got a hunting game and cot. We got a new computer for the basement. And the best gift of all.... Jayli started sleeping through the night. 9 to 10 hours! Thank you little pumpkin!
We drove through park city first and took a tour of this cool cabin. Jayli was being so funny for the camera the whole way. We played minute to win it games on Christmas Eve. So fun! I won a new Aggie shirt! On Christmas we opened gifts, had a delicious dinner, and played more games with Jake's cousins.

 Jayli would lay under our tree at home and just stare at all the lights.

Wedding Weekend

Jake's sister Mindy tied the knot this month. She looked so beautiful. We had a lot of fun at the wedding and the night before. Jake's work built some new appartments about a block away from the temple. We thought we'd take a little family vaca and stay the night in Salt Lake. We had a lot of fun with Jayli the next morning when we all woke up. Jayli got to stay in her Jammies all morning, and Jake took us to breakfast at VI.

3 Months

Jayli is really growing. She has started doing a few new things. She laughed for the first time on December 5th. She rolled from her tummy to her back this last Friday. She has started becoming a little more interested in toys and grabbing things. She can't quite reach out and grab a toy but she will stare it down and watch her hand touch it. And she's really started to jabber a lot. Gooing and ahing. I love her smiles and I can usually always get one out of her even if she's mad.

She has also learned a few tricks: she can tell time. 45 minutes on the dot she will wake up from every nap. she can fill her belly button with poop. she can pull my hair out. she can chew on her passy. she can soak her shirt/bib with slobber in record time.

She loves her first ornament. It's a pink glittered tree with jingle bells on the bottom.

Jayli had a great blessing day. We had so many people there to support us! Jake gave a beautiful blessing and Jayli didn't even cry. :)
